This Week’s Learning…

Literacy – we have been learning to use full stops, capital letters, question marks and exclamation marks correctly and consistently. We will continue this target over the coming weeks. We have also been listening really carefully to our class novel, “There’s a boy in the girl’s bathroom” and learning to ask and respond to different questions.

Maths – we have been learning to identify symmetry in patterns and pictures and can create symmetrical pictures and designs with more than one line of symmetry.

Health and Wellbeing – we are learning to talk about our strengths, interests, skills and we are beginning to set learning goals for ourselves.

Can you help?

As part of our resource budget this year we have been given loads of whiteboard pens, felt pens, glue sticks and other amazing things. Unfortunately the budget does not stretch to laminating sheets – we use these for worksheets so they can be written on with whiteboard pen, rubbed out and used again. If anyone was able to donate any laminating sheets to our class I would be most grateful. Also with summer almost over I am fully anticipating coughs, colds and runny noses! If anyone was able to donate a box of cheap tissues that would be amazing. Thank you!
